project partners in Nijmegen

The partnership in Nijmegen is formed by ROC Nijmegen, Tandem and NEC football club.

ROC Nijmegen is a regional centre for training and education. It has almost 1000 members of staff, not all working full time, and some 12 000 students. ROC is the co-ordinator for this project.

Tandem is a welfare organisation that employs some 240 staff members. Tandem is specialised on projects that aim to guide disadvantaged people to social inclusion and the labour market.

NEC is a professional football club that finds its roots in a working class environment. The name comes from a merger in 1910 between the two clubs Nijmegen and Eendracht. The letter C comes from the word Combination.
